The 2026 Summer Road Season!!!

CCAP regional ROAD teams begin riding mid May

  • Teams are open to girls and boys between ages 9 and 18.

  • Teams ride together in a supportive positive environment led by USA Cycling-certified coaches

  • Riders learn to improve their skills, speed, endurance, teamwork and basics of racing.

  • Teams practice twice a week and attend races on select weekends along with the CCAP TNC series at Rentschler Field in East Hartford

  • Racing is not required, but it is lots of fun.

A properly fitting bike helmet and a road, gravel, or cyclocross bike in good working order are required. If in doubt, please visit a CCAP Pedal Partner or your local bike shop and have your child's helmet and bike checked.

A valid annual USA Cycling Junior race license is required for all riders in CCAP programs.‍ ‍Please get/renew your Junior Rider’s 2026 license here.

Mark your calendars for the start of our Summer Road season and a great day of fun on bikes for the whole family at the Breakaway Benefit on Saturday May 31th 2026 at Norbrook Farm Brewery in Colebrook CT.
